In April 2013, the government ceased to provide most Legal Aid funding for family matters, with the exceptions of domestic violence cases and Child Care matters with Social Services involvement. We are able to offer a fixed fee service for clients who do not fall into either of the above exceptions. An assessment of a client’s financial eligibility can be made in the initial meeting, along with the possibility of an affordable monthly payment plan.
